This week is Teacher Appreciation Week…and although I don’t have little ones of my own…I do have nieces and nephews..and I love to make little gifts for them to give away.
I’ve seen a ton of cute ideas lately but one I saw on TaterTotsAndJello, via eighteen25 was too cute to pass up. My SIL thought it was fab too. The kiddos spent the night this past weekend so we created.

I found the cups at Cost Plus World Market. I put in some Skittles at the bottom and used the printable found at the TaterTots and Jello site. I printed mine on kraft cardstock and outlined the border and yellow letters in a glitter pen to help them stand out a bit more, since the yellow got toned down quite a bit by printing on darker paper. I used bakers twine and some wood buttons to tie the tags on. All my SIL has to do now is add in the gift cards she purchased.
We also made these…
The kiddos picked out the papers they wanted to use and helped figure out the layout of the paper and colors of ink and buttons. I did the cutting and stamping. I think they turned out pretty good. (I didn’t realize the second button on the last notepad had fallen off when I took the picture…it’s on there now…unfortunately I don’t have the notepad to retake the photo). The notepads were ones we found at the dollar spot at Target a while back…saving them for just this occasion.
I put everything in large cello bags and my SIL will tie it all up with ribbon once she adds the gift card.
So, what do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
