Sorry I’ve been away for so long. The “crafty cave”, as my honey likes to call it, had a facelift. It is 97% done! Just waiting on my curtains to get here and to get a few more things put away…then I’ll show you pictures!
I have been crafting…the other day my nephew and I crafted all day…will show you photos from that later.
Today I made a baby gift. We are currently having our master bath remodeled…another reason I’ve been away. One of the contractors is expecting his first child, a boy, later this week. So today I made them a gift.
I took some 2 inch wooden blocks, painted them blue and did some dry brushing with white and then added a little walnut stain distress ink to the edges to age it a bit. I had some cute teddy bear paper that I cut apart, mounted on yellow cardstock, added some distress ink and attached. I cut out the letters for BOY using my Cricut and mounted with foam. All surfaces were coated with mod podge.

I also decorated a onesie for them. I had a cute fish stamp my SIL gave me. I colored it with my PITT Big Brush markers and stamped on the onesie. Turned out pretty good I think. I heat set it so now the ink is permanent.
Lastly I made them a card. I stamped the image, colored in the letters with my copic marker, stamped with PTI polka dot stamp…added some ribbon and attached that layer to yellow. I impressed my base layer with a PTI impression plate and attached the main layer with foam tape.
And here’s everything all packaged up…
So what do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
