I have been wanting to make a banner for ages, so I finally did! I cut out 16 banner flags…they are 4″ across and 6″ long. I wanted them to be pretty sturdy so I sewed 2 together. I bought a fall scrapbooking kit from Oriental Trading and used the papers, chipboard and diecuts from that. The paper wasn’t really good quality…super thin…but it worked out fine. I sprayed the flags with some mists from October Afternoon…I believe the colors were Chalk White and Brown Bag. Once that was dry I attached the rosettes I made with some fabri-tac. I used my Cricut to cut out my letters. To make them strong I first attached a strip of cardstock to the back of the dp. I then attached all the diecuts. I punched holes in each corner and added some string.

Please excuse my arm…there is just no good way to take a photo of something hanging on a mirror without having some part of you in the photo!
So…what do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
OH…one last thing…if you live in the Bakersfield area, I will be at a Craft Faire on Saturday at Westminster Church on Union Ave. from 9 to 3. Hope to see you there!
