My nephew’s birthday is next month and my SIL wanted me to make the invites again this year…I’ve been making them for about 4 years now. It’s always hard to make boy…this was no exception. My SIL had some ideas and we collaborated to come up with these…(click image to enlarge)
We usually go with dark colors, he likes black and gray A LOT! But this time my SIL wanted to do something more colorful and fun. The party will be at a local BBQ place so we went with that theme. I die cut the “party” using my Cricut and Sure Cuts A Lot software. I wanted it to look like the letters were written with the “sauce” from the bottle. I also used the same tools to cut out the BBQ sauce bottle. I used the letters in one of the font kits I have, from Just Rite Stampers, to stamp the sauce name on the bottle. The beer mug was clipart I printed and cut out. I then used some liquid applique to add the foam on top.
So what do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
